Under general supervision, assist with input into Quick Books applications for multiple companies. Reconcile all accounts as needed. Identify errors and present solutions based upon standard accounting principles.
GeneralDuties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain Quick Books company data files by entering all required transactions.
- Enter journal entries as directed.
- Reconcile and prepare monthly reports.
- Assist with preparation of year-end reports
- Maintain office files and data
- Scheduling and general office administrative duties
- Excellent knowledge of computers and the Internet.
- Work fluently with Microsoft Office, email, Windows operating systems, and PCs.
- Ability and knack for working with numerical data. Attention to detail. Accurate.
- Advanced understanding of Quick Books applications.
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
- Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of general office procedures, such as copying, scanning, filing, and shredding.
- Innovative and creative in the form of continuous improvement to internal processes.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
High school diploma or equivalent GED. General/Basic Bookkeeping and/or Accounting courses. Three years or more experience working with Quick Books Online or applicable accounting software management.
Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test is required.
