Construction Manager/ Foreman, Site Manager
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our client's growing team in Greenville, South Carolina. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality commercial projects on time and within budget.
About the Role
As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules. You will serve as the primary field representative and play a critical role in delivering successful projects from groundbreaking through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel
- Maintain and enforce project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company safety standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and progress
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients
- Resolve field issues proactively and maintain clear communication across teams
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and logs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety protocols
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and complex job sites
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with construction management software is a plus
- OSHA certification preferred
