Job DescriptionTITLE: SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST INTERN
QUALIFICATIONS: Enrollment in an Internship course in a graduate-level School Psychology Program. Valid S.
C. certification as a School Psychologist I (Intern Certification).
REPORTS TO: Lead School Psychologist
JOB GOAL: The school psychologist intern will complete all components required by his/her university program, along with duties as assigned by the lead school psychologist.
Performance Responsibilities- Successfully completes all requirements for internship, as set forth in the university/district internship agreement.
- Completes assigned tasks (to include, but not to be limited to, evaluation and consultation) at designated school(s).
- Engages in required supervision hours with assigned supervisor.
- Maintains and builds upon knowledge of all regulations (local, state, and federal) regarding psychological services.
- Prepares periodic reports as required.
- Conducts appropriate reports as required.
- Maintains confidentiality concerning student records and data.
- Participates in staff development programs.
- Performs other duties as directed.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 190 days. Stipend, with full employee benefits.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated based upon evaluation instruments provided by the university graduate program.
