Primary Responsibilities
Adjunct faculty will be responsible for teaching assigned undergraduate courses and supporting student learning in accordance with College and University expectations.
- Delivering high-quality instruction within the assigned discipline
- Facilitating meaningful student engagement and applied learning
- Providing timely and substantive feedback to students
- Assessing student learning in accordance with established course and program outcomes
- Maintaining appropriate communication with students
- Integrating Christian faith and biblical principles appropriately within the discipline
- Supporting the mission and academic standards of Anderson University and the College of Business & Economics
Candidates must possess a master's degree or higher in business or a discipline appropriate to the courses they would be assigned to teach. Candidates should have appropriate graduate‑level academic preparation in the relevant teaching discipline. Relevant professional or industry experience is strongly preferred, particularly where that experience supports the practical and applied nature of the courses being taught. Candidates must also demonstrate a commitment to the Christian mission and values of Anderson University.
Preferred Qualifications- A Ph.D., D.B.A., or other appropriate terminal degree in a business discipline or closely related field
- Prior college‑level teaching experience
- Experience teaching undergraduate students
- Experience teaching in online or hybrid formats
- Significant professional, industry, consulting, or leadership experience relevant to the candidate's teaching discipline
