Project Sales Specialist - Anderson, South Carolina
Location: Anderson, SC Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Mechanical Contracting / HVAC / Plumbing / Industrial Systems
About the RoleWe are seeking a driven and technically minded Project Sales Specialist to support ongoing growth across commercial, industrial, and institutional construction markets. This role focuses on developing project opportunities involving HVAC systems, mechanical installations, plumbing solutions, and full-service mechanical contracting.
You will work closely with clients, engineers, and internal project teams to deliver high‑quality, cost-effective solutions that meet both performance and budget expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, develop, and secure mechanical project opportunities across the Upstate region.
- Build strong relationships with general contractors, facility leaders, engineers, and decision‑makers.
- Conduct site visits, evaluate project scopes, and collaborate with estimating and operations teams to develop accurate proposals.
- Prepare and present bids, budgets, and detailed project solutions for mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through project handoff to operations.
- Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities, tracking progress through CRM tools.
- Provide technical insight and value‑engineering recommendations to support customer needs.
- Work cross‑functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Proven experience in project sales within mechanical contracting, HVAC, plumbing, or commercial/industrial construction.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, drawings, scopes of work, and construction processes.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client‑relationship skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, plans, and technical specifications.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.
