Perform duties associated with locating and marking Wastewater Infrastructure and responding to SC PUPs 811 locate tickets. Assist Project Manager with inspecting Residential, Commercial and Industrial Wastewater Infrastructure installation and repairs . REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED equivalent with additional vocational or technical school training in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in construction, wastewater inspections and/or locating wastewater infrastructure. “C” level Biological Wastewater operator or ability to obtain. Valid Driver’s License and CDL License with Tanker Endorsement. Any equivalent combination of related experience.

Work consists of applying civil engineering principles, methods, and techniques to solve and/or create designs for project improvements. Required Licenses, Skills, or Certifications Possess a Professional Engineer’s License in the State of South Carolina or the ability to obtain one in 6 months or less.

Requires manipulative skills and hand-eye coordination in the operation of a vehicle to conduct fieldwork and inspections. Must possess a valid SC driver’s license or can obtain one before employment. Competencies for Successful Performance of Job Duties Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of engineering as applied to the requirements of a County Roads and Bridges Department. Ability to evaluate and analyze data and make recommendations based on sound judgment.
