Performs various clerical, secretarial, and administrative work related to the Veterans Affairs Department such as filing claims, preparing various forms and reports, answering phones, receiving the public, and aiding of Veteran’s needs. Requirements:
Valid SC Driver’s License Accreditation Requirements:
Must attend and participate in training for initial accreditation. Must obtain a passing certificate from the SCDVA. Must pass and obtain from the DVA a PIV Federal  which allows access to the DVA database on Veterans for which we hold POA. Immediate dismissal if initial accreditation from SCDVA is not obtained or a Federal PIV card is not issued after testing and background check is completed.

Wastewater RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform duties associated with locating and marking Wastewater Infrastructure and responding to SC PUPs 811 locate tickets. Assist Project Manager with inspecting Residential, Commercial and Industrial Wastewater Infrastructure installation and repairs . REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED equivalent with additional vocational or technical school training in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in construction, wastewater inspections and/or locating wastewater infrastructure. “C” level Biological Wastewater operator or ability to obtain. Valid Driver’s License and CDL License with Tanker Endorsement. Any equivalent combination of related experience.

Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled work, and operates a variety of equipment in the collection and shipping of solid waste, recyclables, stacking electronics, and working with tires. Performs work in the material recovery facility. Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 1 years’ experience using light equipment used in the material handling or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Roads & Bridges Responsibilities:
Directs, coordinates, and manages through staff the varied activities of the Engineering Section of the Roads and Bridges Department. Performs complex technical civil engineering-related work for environmental, water, sewer, highway, and other Roads & Bridges projects and programs. Work consists of applying civil engineering principles, methods, and techniques to solve and/or create designs for project improvements. Required Licenses, Skills, or Certifications Possess a Professional Engineer’s License in the State of South Carolina or the ability to obtain one in 6 months or less.

Requires manipulative skills and hand-eye coordination in the operation of a vehicle to conduct fieldwork and inspections. Must possess a valid SC driver’s license or can obtain one before employment. Competencies for Successful Performance of Job Duties Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of engineering as applied to the requirements of a County Roads and Bridges Department. Ability to evaluate and analyze data and make recommendations based on sound judgment.
