Role Description

The Director of Financial Services is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, South Carolina area. This role oversees all financial services functions, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for a multi-facility, global manufacturing organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the finance and accounting teams, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with applicable regulations.

The Director will analyze financial performance, provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership, and support investment decisions, cost optimization initiatives, and risk management. This role also collaborates with operational leaders and external partners, such as auditors, banks, and consulting firms, to drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Qualifications
  • Strong Finance and Financial Services skills, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and cash flow management.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills and experience using data to drive decision-making, performance measurement, and cost optimization.
  • Solid Accounting knowledge, including GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit coordination.
  • Consulting and advisory capabilities to support senior leadership with strategic financial insights and business case development.
  • Proven leadership experience managing finance teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proficiency with financial systems, ERP platforms, and spreadsheet tools; experience improving financial processes and automation is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is preferred.
  • Experience working in global or multi-site organizations is an advantage.
