High School Certified School Registered Nurse | Anderson, South Carolina

A contracted Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide essential healthcare support within a high school setting from February 19th through May 21st in the Anderson, SC area. This position focuses on delivering direct nursing care to two students, one of whom uses a wheelchair, requiring attentive and personalized health management.

Experience with gastrostomy tubes (G-tubes) and ventilator support is highly preferred, equipping the nurse to effectively support students with specific medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care to two high school students, including one wheelchair user
• Monitor and manage G-tube feeding and care procedures when applicable
• Provide care related to ventilator support as needed
• Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure comprehensive health management
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate health status updates appropriately
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and routine health concerns during school hours

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Current and valid RN license
• Experience working in school nursing, pediatric care, or related fields
