Network Engineer

The Network Engineer will implement, maintain, and support a growing network infrastructure. You will be part of the Network team responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, and highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs.

• Manage the day-to-day availability and 24x7 uptime of all core and fault-tolerant systems
• Troubleshoot any problems that may arise from the above
• Monitor and configure monitoring tools (e.g., Prime, Solar Winds, Syslog, Scrutinizer)
• Troubleshoot issues related to faulty cabling or panels
• Administer and monitor Umbrella
• Manage and support Cisco SD-WAN
• Manage the WAN accelerator appliance
• Manage and troubleshoot WLAN (WLC and AP)
• Manage and deploy Cisco or Fortinet VPN services
• Manage and configure F5 or Netscaler load balancers
• Manage and deploy Cisco ISE or other NAC solutions
• Manage and deploy Cisco or Fortinet firewalls
• Configure, update, and troubleshoot Meraki devices, WAPs, Cisco Catalyst switches, printers, and credit card swipe devices
• Manage and support all WAN, LAN, and WLAN infrastructure for the organization

Requirements

• Ability to work in high places
• Onsite support required
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Strong sense of responsibility and drive to complete objectives
• Ability to work well within a team
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure and AWS) is a plus
• Understanding of technologies like MPLS and SD-WAN is a plus
• Skilled in creating Word, Excel, and Visio documentation for designing, installing, and troubleshooting networks
• Experience managing VLANs, VLAN trunking, Spanning Tree, port channeling, HSRP (or VRRP), and DHCP
• Experience with firewalls and software VPN tunnels
• Experience in multi-routing protocol environments, including dynamic routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching
• Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot data networks
• 5+ years of experience in WAN & LAN network operations
