Warehouse Operations Manager

We are partnering with a growing international organization looking for an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations for their brand-new facility.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory processes while developing and improving the systems, processes, and team supporting the operation.

The Operations Manager will also support the continued development of purchasing and quality management capabilities, working closely with local leadership and global teams. This is a great opportunity with strong growth potential!

• Lead day-to-day warehouse, logistics, inventory, material flow, shipping/receiving, and assembly operations.
• Develop and improve warehouse processes, layout, storage, product flow, and material handling to increase efficiency, productivity, and service levels.
• Ensure accurate inventory management, stock visibility, and efficient shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and internal material movement.
• Utilize ERP and warehouse management systems, including SAP, to improve inventory accuracy, workflow, process control, and operational visibility.
• Lead, train, and develop operations personnel while establishing clear priorities, performance expectations, and accountability.
• Drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, space utilization, waste reduction, safety, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Partner cross-functionally with sales, customer service, supply chain, and global teams to meet customer needs and maintain alignment with company standards and best practices.
• Support operational planning and growth, including hiring, equipment and resource needs, and annual budgeting.
• Oversee day-to-day purchasing activities, including purchase orders, supplier coordination, deliveries, material availability, and issue resolution.
• Partner with global purchasing teams to monitor supplier performance and costs, maintain purchasing standards, and support forecasting, planning, and continuous improvement.
• Support the development and implementation of quality management practices within warehouse, logistics, and assembly operations.
• Promote quality awareness, process discipline, and consistent operational standards across the team.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that reduce errors, improve process stability, and strengthen customer satisfaction.
• Lead with a hands-on, practical, and solution-oriented approach.
• Build and develop a strong operations team by establishing clear responsibilities, expectations, and accountability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, purchasing, or a related operational environment.
• 3+ years of leadership or people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, material flow, and process improvement.
• Experience working with ERP and/or warehouse management systems; SAP experience is strongly preferred.
• Exposure to purchasing, supplier management, quality management, and continuous improvement is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively across functions and within an international organization.
