We are currently hiring a dependable and reliable, self-motivated Forklift driver to work in the Warehouse on second (2nd) shift.
Scope of the positionTo assist in the organized shipping and receiving of material and finished goods and accurate inventory by placing all material and finished goods in their proper location.
Responsibilities- Observe Safety procedures at all times.
- Place all finished goods and raw materials into correct location as identified by 5S map.
- Complete records, paperwork and labels accurately as required.
- Manually load and unload trucks and carry out packing as required.
- Strap and palletize boxes as required to meet shipping and production needs.
- Participate in monthly inventory and cycle counts as needed.
- Ensure warehouse and respective outside areas are neat, clean, and well stocked at all times.
- Carry out daily maintenance and safety checks of the forklifts, complete paperwork and report any defect to supervisor.
- As assigned by the supervisor or manager, must be licensed and certified to drive a forklift within Mergon Corporation.
