Calibration Technician

Overview

Techtronic Industries Power Equipment, a subsidiary of TTI, has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for a Calibration Technician
.

• Test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain electromechanical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments to conform to set standards.
• Set up calibration sequences, methods, and procedures according to detailed specifications, drawings, and requirements.
• Follow automated procedures and instructions and help develop new procedures.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
• Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document work activity; experience with Fluke Met Cal software is a plus.
• Conduct complex configuration tests and interpret schematics and testing procedures.
• Provide detailed documentation of all calibration, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and/or equipment manuals to perform work.
• Perform internal weekly checks and document activities.
• Responsible for day-to-day workload management.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and calibrate equipment as identified by management.
• Manage outsourced calibration and repair.
• Write technical documentation for new and existing applications, methods, and procedures.
• Maintain ISO
  17025 documentation related to calibrated equipment.
• Perform other miscellaneous functions as assigned by management.
• Willing to learn and open to direction and suggestions.

• Automated procedure programming or willingness to learn.
• Experience working in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited lab.
• Ask questions when in doubt and take responsibility for learning what needs to be done.

Target Salary Range: $65,000 - $95,000
