General Operator-Meta; 2nd shift

Position: General Operator-Meta (2nd shift)
RESPONSIBILITIES

* Production Operations:
Perform assembly, installation, and processing tasks in accordance with work instructions, engineering drawings, and established production standards.

* Equipment Operation:
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assigned manufacturing equipment to complete production tasks.

* Material Handling:
Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods within the facility using pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (if certified).

* Quality Verification:
Inspect work to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements; report discrepancies promptly.

* Process Adherence:
Follow standardized operating procedures and ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.

* Documentation:
Accurately complete production reports, work orders, checklists, and electronic tracking documentation.

* Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all safety policies, PPE requirements, and company procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

* Housekeeping:
Maintain a clean and organized work area; support 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives.

* Team

Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, quality, and engineering teams to support production goals.

* Continuous Improvement:
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

* High School Diploma or GED required

* Previous manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse experience preferred

* Ability to read basic work instructions and follow standardized processes

* Experience using hand tools and basic measuring devices preferred

* Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification)

* Basic math and computer skills for documentation and production tracking

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

* Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

This position may require standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating equipment in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

* Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying indoor temperatures.

* Flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.

TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED

No travel required; position is facility-based.
