While working safely, the weaver will produce first quality fabric, documenting all defects and malfunctions on the loom maintenance technician card. Each weaver is assigned a set of looms to operate efficiently. Duties and responsibilities include starting looms, repairing yarn breaks, inspecting, flagging looms for defects, and constantly cycling warp alleys. Other responsibilities include changing yarn bobbins when they run out, making sure the bobbin has an identification label, and removing any non-conforming yarn, using a reject bobbin sticker.

Maintains open communication with other weavers, management, and technical team. Maintains all records according to ISO standards.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Weaving first quality fabric

Must be able to prioritize.

Must be able to handle the stress of a production environment

Must work with a sense of urgency.

Starting looms, repairing yarn breaks, and filling changes while maintaining efficiency standard.

Constant patrolling, inspections, and flagging defects

Maintaining warp back and filling maintenance

Maintain all records according to ISO standards

Only Supply Issued reed hooks will be used

Job Specifications:

HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent

2-3 years Manufacturing experience (Weaving experience a plus)

Good working knowledge of computer skills
