General Operator ; Pre-assembly; 2nd shift

Position: General Operator 2 (Pre-assembly) (2nd shift)
RESPONSIBILITIES

* Production Operations:
Operate manufacturing equipment, tools, and machinery according to standard work instructions and production schedules.

* Assembly & Fabrication:
Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components accurately using hand tools, power tools, and other production equipment.

* Quality Assurance:
Inspect parts and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards; report defects or non-conformances promptly.

* Material Handling:
Move materials and components within the production area using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or carts.

* Documentation:
Accurately complete production records, work orders, and quality documentation in a timely manner.

* Equipment Monitoring:
Monitor equipment performance and notify supervisors or maintenance of any malfunctions or safety concerns.

* Safety & Compliance:
Follow all company safety procedures, wear required PPE, and adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations at all times.

* Continuous Improvement:
Participate in team meetings, training, and process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.

* Housekeeping:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S and company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

* High School Diploma or GED

* Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred

* Ability to read and interpret basic work instructions, diagrams, or blueprints

* Basic math and measurement skills

* Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic production equipment safely

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

This position may require standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Work is performed in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

* Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures within a production setting.

* Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime as needed.
