We are currently seeking a Punch Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Punch Operator should have a steady work history that shows commitment, quality, and reliability. You will report promptly to your team leader for your daily duties and will work with your team to ensure the production goals are reached.
Responsibilities- Set‑up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment as needed to produce quality parts.
- Use calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to ensure quality standards.
- Follow drawings or work orders as provided by a team leader.
- Read and interpret blueprints and make minor adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area and comply with all safety rules and procedures.
- Work efficiently while keeping safety, quality, and production standards in mind.
- Promote a team‑oriented atmosphere at all times.
- Perform any other task asked by the leadership team.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience operating a punch operator.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Ability to lift, move, and position materials up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working independently or collaboratively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Willingly follow safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to work overtime, shifts, or weekends as needed to support production demands.
