Our client, a leading custom print manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Press Operator to join their team. As a Press Operator, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong work ethic, and adaptability, which will align successfully within the organization.

Anderson, SC

Pay Range: $15- $19 DOE

Shift: 1st 7:30a-4:00p

What's the Job?

• Follow all procedures outlined in the Departmental Work Instructions to ensure quality and safety.
• Adhere to the production schedule set by the Plate Mounter/Lead Press Operator or the Production Supervisor.
• Review job tickets prior to press runs to confirm specifications and requirements.
• Load paper and ink as required, install and adjust plate and die cylinders, and make necessary adjustments during production.
• Operate the press and related equipment efficiently, ensuring jobs are produced according to specifications and quality standards.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Technical education in mechanics or related field is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, bend, stoop, and reach comfortably.
• Must stand for extended periods and perform well under deadline constraints.
• Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, good color perception, and vision corrected to 20/20.
