Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) - Night shift, 13-week travel assignment in Anderson, SC. Great opportunity for an experienced Med-Surg/Telemetry RN or travel RN who is comfortable with Epic charting and cardiac rhythm management.
About the Assignment- Location: Anderson, SC 29621 — Anderson, South Carolina nursing job near Lake Hartwell
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
- Setting: Med/Surg Tele Float (4 North, MS/Tele Float) — Med-Surg Telemetry unit
- Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (18:45 – 07:15)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Orientation: 20 hours
- Charting System: Epic (experience with Epic charting preferred)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,750 - $1,840 per week
- Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.; pending license accepted
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Proficiency with peripheral line care/management, starting/maintaining IVs, oxygen delivery (nasal cannula), and medication administration
- Strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management — telemetry nurse experience required
- Ability to float within scope to other Med/Surg and Telemetry units (float pool flexibility)
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on Med/Surg Telemetry units
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic; interpret and manage cardiac rhythms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and manage IV therapy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV team, PT, RT, pharmacy, case management, and physicians
- Float to other Med/Surg and Tele units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records and complete required unit orientation and online modules before start
