Job Description

Infusion Nurse in the Infusion Department responsible for administering Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Immunoglobulin, and Iron. Symptom management and patient education. Management of Central Line Catheters such as port-a-caths. Provide care according to the individualized needs of the patient using the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.

• Administrate Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Immunoglobulin, and Iron.
• Manage symptom control and provide patient education.
• Maintain Central Line Catheters including port-a-caths.
• Apply nursing process and comply with the Nurse Practice Act.

• Assoc. degree required.
• National Nursing License and BLS certification required.
• 0-1 year experience required; 2-4 years preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficient problem solving, critical thinking, and priority setting.
• Oncology experience is a plus.
• Excellent peripheral IV skills preferred.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certificate Course required after one year.
• OCN certification required within two years.

Day shift Monday to Friday. No nights.
