Travel ICU Registered Nurse

Position Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Day Shift, 13‑Week Travel Contract in Anderson, South Carolina.

Start Date:

ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks.

Hours:

36 per week (12‑hour days, three shifts).

Travel.

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, utilizing the data to create an individualized plan of care.
• Identify teaching needs and goals related to each patient's diagnosis by collaborating with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status effectively to support continuity of care and patient safety.
• Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Contribute positively to the unit environment, promoting teamwork and efficiency.
• Maintain communication with management regarding service needs for supplies, equipment, and clinical training.
• Assume charge responsibilities as requested following orientation.
• Pursue professional development through continuing education and self‑study.

• BLS certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY).
• Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.
• Completed at least one assignment with the current agency.
• PCU experience is required.

The position operates on a Day Shift, requiring three 12‑hour shifts each week.

Pay based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
