Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides educational opportunities to meet orientation, training, and development needs of Nursing Service teammates.
- Responsible for onboarding new employees, creating educational materials, facilitating classroom, simulation, skill-based, virtual and clinical learning experiences.
- Works collaboratively with nursing leadership, clinical staff, interprofessional teams and organizational stakeholders.
- Develops educational materials, competency tools, learning activities and resources that support safeand effective nursing practice.
Qualifications
- SC RN License required. 3-4 years clinical experience required. (Telemetry/Step-Down Unit experience preferred.)
- Master’s degree in Nursing, or in a related field as approved by the CNO, required or must be obtained within 3 years from date of hire.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
