The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients expert nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and a safe perioperative environment.
Responsibilities- Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
- Provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal and formal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts.
- Possesses excellent communication skills; is skillful in mentoring and teaching; and may participate on committees or projects.
- Provide care education to patients and parents in person or over the phone
- Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)
- Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS
- 1+ year of pediatric acute care preferred
