Quality Lab Technician
Pay: $28.10/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional weekends)
Location: Anderson, SC
What You'll Do- Perform laboratory testing and measurements according to customer specifications and plant control plans
- Conduct product and process quality testing, including color matching, adhesion testing, and material evaluations
- Support PPAP qualifications for new products, paints, and processes
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations to production and quality teams
- Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records, and testing documentation
- Manage product requalification testing and customer master sample preservation
- Support incoming supplier part inspections when required
- Work closely with suppliers and customers on color matching, paint approvals, and quality concerns
- Train production personnel on testing methods and quality control procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives across the plant
- Technician certification or education in Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Quality, or a related field
- 2-4 years of laboratory, quality, or manufacturing experience
- Experience working with paint systems, plastics, coatings, or industrial materials preferred
- Knowledge of laboratory testing methods and quality reporting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience maintaining and calibrating testing equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with production teams, suppliers, and customers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems
