Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our team part-time. This role keeps the sales engine moving by responding to customer action items and orders, preparing customer quotes, setting up and supporting BloodCOMM accounts, coordinating product demos, and fielding customer calls. It is a transactional, fast-paced position where priorities shift throughout the day based on incoming order volume and quote urgency.

You will work closely with the Sales team and our full-time Delta Staff.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Follow up with Sales, customers, or distributors to collect any missing end-user information needed to complete an order or quote.
  • Obtain missing BloodCOMM information from Sales, customers, or distributors.
  • Help maintain internal reference materials as workload allows, including:
    • Quote SOP
    • PO Processing SOP
    • Other sales-process documentation
  • Escalate accounting questions and other non-sales items to the appropriate full-time team member.
How the Work Is Prioritized:

The role primarily consists of transactional order and quote operations. Priorities shift based on incoming PO volume, quote urgency, customer needs, BloodCOMM activity, and demo activity. A typical order of priority is:

  • Sales action items and CRM management
  • High Priority RFQs and active customer calls
  • BloodCOMM setup requests, Normal Priority RFQs, and demo coordination
  • Hub Spot contact assignment and documentation updates
What We're Looking For:
  • 1+ years of experience in sales support, order entry, customer service, or an administrative role (or equivalent).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when verifying order and quote information.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and re-prioritize as urgent requests come in.
  • Clear, professional written and phone communication with customers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Comfortable working in business systems; experience with a CRM (Hub Spot preferred) and an order-management or ERP system is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Reliable and self-directed during scheduled hours; able to pick up where the full-time team leaves off.
Schedule & Compensation
  • Part-time, approximately [20–25] hours per week. (Some flexibility may be needed on high-volume days.)
  • Hourly pay commensurate with experience.

Delta Development Team is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
