Business Development Specialist

Senior Care Authority (SCA) is a leading eldercare consulting and placement firm.

Based in California, the company has 100 locally owned offices nationwide. SCA

provides seniors and families with personalized, concierge-style services to help them

evaluate and select the living and care solutions that best fit their needs. The Upstate

SC office was established in 2019 and is expanding its sales team. SCA has

established agreements with senior living communities across the Upstate, including

independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities.

We seek a full-time Business Development Specialist (BDS) to generate leads, build

relationships, and increase awareness of our services among key referral sources,

primarily in the greater Greenville area and surrounding Upstate counties. The BDS

will develop referrals from healthcare sources (hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, etc.)

and other sources (attorneys, senior centers, etc.). This position will expand the

network of professional contacts within each account who refer clients to SCA and

achieve monthly direct referral goals.

The ideal candidate is a sales and marketing professional with experience and

relationships in senior healthcare. We seek someone who is results-driven and

compassionate, committed to ethical practices and high-quality outcomes for seniors

and families. The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team is

essential. Existing relationships with local hospitals, healthcare providers, or senior

services organizations are desirable.

Compensation includes a base salary, an attractive commission structure, select

benefits, and a flexible work environment.

• Develop or expand relationships that generate client referrals for senior living placements and consulting engagements.
• Prequalify leads and ensure a smooth transition to an SCA placement or consulting specialist.
• Consistently meet monthly referral and placement goals.
• Build awareness of SCA and its services among healthcare professionals and other referral sources.
• Expand existing relationships, contact potential referral sources, and manage meetings and presentations.
• Work with internal management and external partners to ensure a high-quality experience for clients throughout education, placement, and

• Self-motivated and able to work independently and with SCA teammates and partners.
• Ability to travel throughout the Upstate counties (required).
• Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Existing relationships with hospitals, healthcare providers, or senior services organizations in the target market are a plus.
