Security Officer Armed Patrol in Anderson, SC, will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong communication and customer service.

Fri 11:30 AM - 05:30 PM
What You’ll Do:- Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and observe the movement of employees, contractors, visitors, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location.
- Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by reporting unusual activity, checking for unsecured doors or gates, and communicating security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
