About the RoleWe are looking for a highly experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to support AGRAMKOW customers throughout the US. This position combines field installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support with hands‑on repair work at our Greenville service location. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, excellent organization and follow‑through, mature customer communication, and the ability to help strengthen service processes and mentor others as the organization grows.
WhatYou Will Do
- Install, commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair AGRAMKOW equipment at customer manufacturing facilities, independently resolving complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, controls, and system‑related issues
- Perform hands‑on in‑house repairs, including diagnosing, disassembling, rebuilding, and testing customer equipment and components; experience with pumps, vacuum systems, welding equipment, or similar industrial equipment is highly valuable
- Plan and organize assigned service work, maintain clear documentation, track open actions through completion, and communicate priorities, status, and risks to customers and internal teams
- Provide professional technical support and training to customers while consistently following AGRAMKOW and customer safety requirements
- Serve as a senior technical resource to the service team by sharing knowledge, mentoring other engineers, improving service practices, and helping create greater structure, consistency, and accountability within the service organization
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with industrial equipment, field service, automation, commissioning, maintenance, or complex equipment repair
- Demonstrated expertise in hands‑on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, with experience in industrial automation, PLCs/HMIs, pneumatics, pumps, vacuum systems, welding equipment, instrumentation, or related manufacturing systems
- Exceptional organization, documentation, and follow‑through skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer issues and open actions
- Strong customer presence and leadership potential, including the ability to communicate professionally, mentor others, coordinate technical work, improve processes, and grow into increased service leadership responsibility
This role is intended for an experienced engineer who wants to remain hands‑on while taking on increasing technical and organizational leadership. The successful candidate will have opportunities to mentor team members, help improve service planning and processes, support coordination of field activities, and demonstrate readiness for a future leadership role within the North American service organization.
