Delivery Driver

Job Description

Domino's Pizza is looking for qualified drivers to staff stores. We offer a great flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement.

• You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• You must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• You should possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Orientation and training provided on the job.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

• Deliver product by car to the door of the customer.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

• Navigation: read a map, locate addresses within a designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain such as multi‑story buildings and private homes.
• Carrying, walking, driving, and climbing during delivery.
• Driving:
  Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift.

Work may involve varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving, and couponing. In‑store temperatures can range from 36 degrees (cooler) to over 90 degrees in some work areas. There is exposure to fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.

Standing, walking, sitting while completing paperwork, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs, pushing and pulling trays and dollies, climbing stairs or ladders, and performing repetitive tasks such as bending, crouching, and reaching while working.

Employees must be able to perform a variety of manual tasks: keystrokes, use of basic kitchen equipment, and safe handling of items such as pizza dough, sauce, and boxes.
