Transportation Safety Assistant
QUALIFICATIONS
: 18 years of age or older and good physical condition
Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
REPORTS TO
:
Assigned Supervisor
SUPERVISES: None
JOB GOAL
:
To provide safe and efficient transportation so that
students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the District's curriculum and extra curricular program
Performance Responsibilities- Rides bus route to pick up and deliver students.
- Assists with loading and unloading passengers.
- Monitors medical conditions and behavior changes.
- Maintains equipment.
- Assists bus driver with discipline on the bus.
- Promotes good public relations through professional and ethical execution of job.
- Participates in staff development programs.
- Performs other duties as directed.
180 days. Salary to be determined by the salary schedule established by the Board.
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $12.11 to $19.30 Per Hour
