Shift Supervisor

7PM—7AM based on a 2‑2‑3 schedule (overtime as needed based on business needs)

Under the direction of the Logistics Supervisor or Department Supervisor the Material Handler maintains distribution of materials between the production floor and inventory; loads and unloads; delivers production materials and supplies to the production floor; stages finished product in designated inventory location; performs general housekeeping in accordance with Pregis policies and procedures.

• Safely drive a forklift to stage material, load trucks, unload trucks, and transfer material within the plant and between departments as needed.
• Keep safety at the forefront of the team’s thinking and approach to work.
• Communicate and ensure all safety procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, well‑organized, FIFO (first in, first out) controlled warehouse per Pregis best practice.
• Maintain inventory by identifying and placing materials and supplies in stock; record location of inventory.
• Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, and securing product in the correct location.
• Be a reliable member of the team, always identifying and professionally communicating ways to improve the work environment.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Other responsibilities as directed or required.

• Ability to take coaching well and communicate respectfully with others.

• Effectively and respectfully communicate with team and during shift transition.
• Knowledgeable of safety requirements and guidelines in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, follow standardized work instructions and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement culture.

• 1+ years of sit‑down forklift experience.
• 1+ years of inventory control experience.
• Experience with Inventory Control/Warehouse Management software (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Exposure to moving equipment.
• Humidity may exceed 80%.
• Personal Protective Equipment required.

• Occasional lifting, pushing, pulling.
