Pro Group Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced Site Managers to oversee fire door installation, fire door remediation and fire stopping projects across a few MOD projects in the area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor with a strong pipeline of passive fire protection projects, managing site teams and ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly and to the highest quality standards.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and in accordance with all health and safety requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing fire door installation and remediation works
  • Overseeing fire stopping remediation works
  • Supervising site teams of up to:
  • 8 Carpenters
  • 2 Fire Stoppers
  • 2 Decorators
  • Taking overall responsibility for site Health & Safety
  • Conducting pre-works and post-works inspections
  • Identifying and completing minor snagging works where required
  • Ensuring accurate and compliant use of the One Trace digital reporting system across site
  • Liaising with clients, operatives and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience managing passive fire protection projects, including fire doors and fire stopping
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple trades on site
  • Good understanding of fire safety compliance and quality standards
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Experience using digital reporting systems such as One Trace is advantageous
  • Full UK Driving Licence
Essential Qualifications
  • CSCS Card
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
