• Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per year basic (Transparently structured based on your technical experience and skill level).

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Andover facility, you will:

• Execute comprehensive repairs and maintenance
  , including braking, steering, suspension, exhaust, tyre fitting, and general chassis work.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic scanners and multi-brand software.
• Carry out routine servicing
  , multi-point safety inspections, and manufacturer-aligned maintenance.
• Maintain precise digital job records while collaborating closely with a friendly service team to keep workshop flow seamless.
• Assist with MOT testing and vehicle inspections (with full training provided if you are not yet qualified).

• Qualifications &
  
  Experience:
  
  NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time‑served equivalent). Practical, "time served" experience is highly valued. At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in a busy garage, workshop, or fast‑fit setting. F‑Gas certification is preferred.
• Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential.
  An active Class 4 and 7 MOT Tester licence is preferred (training will be provided for suitable candidates).
• Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily repair work.
• Key Strengths: Strong diagnostic problem‑solving skills, pride in quality mechanical workmanship, and a collaborative team attitude.
