Job Duties
Office Coordinator for College Health Services reports to the Director of College Health Service and is responsible for the management and organization of information systems for College Health. A capacity for independent judgment and innate ability to appropriately communicate with students and faculty are required. Confidentiality regarding client health and records must be maintained. Must be familiar with and work within both FERPA and HIPAA regulations.
The Office Coordinator for College Health reports directly to the Director of College Health Services and is expected to carry out the responsibilities, associated duties, and tasks for the effective operation of the College Health component of the college with minimal supervision. The Office Coordinator will collaborate with: BOE Office Coordinator, Registered Nurse, Physician, Practitioner, and other office and college staff.

Required knowledge and skills
- A. Excellent human relations skills in dealing with all internal and external stakeholders.
- B. Microsoft Word, skilled in word processing of documents including letters, tables, and forms.
- C. Computer searching and research skills. Computerized scheduling.
- D. Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance billing, and IC9 coding helpful but not mandatory.
- E. Nurse Aid skills also helpful but not required.
- F. Working knowledge of higher education processes and working procedures.
- G. Current CPR certification preferred.
Required experience
- A. One year of office work required.
- B. Medical office experience would be beneficial, but not required.
Required educational background
High School diploma or equivalent.
