Job DutiesJob responsibilities include preparing and teaching Statics. The instructor will collaborate with the Pre-engineering faculty and the Faculty Development Team as needed to ensure continued success. This is an adjunct faculty position and the instructor could teach from one to three classes. Continued adjunct teaching is a possibility beyond the summer term. Butler uses electronic grade books and other forms of mediated communication.
Free training is offered and required.
Key teaching dates:
Monday and Wednesday, 4–7 pm, June 1 – July 24.

Salary$830 per credit hour taught.

Qualifications- Knowledge of engineering statics at the college sophomore level.
- Ability to work in a learning management system (training is available).
- Teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
- Masters degree and 18 graduate hours in engineering or related field.
- Required to authorize college to procure a consumer report.
- College cannot sponsor employment visas or consider individuals on time-limited visa status.
