Position: Veterinarian | Multi-site Full time

Multi-Site Veterinarian | Wichita, Kansas Four Established Hospitals | Variety & Autonomy | Predictable Scheduling | No Negative Accrual

We’re looking for a veterinarian to support four established small animal hospitals throughout the Wichita area, giving you the opportunity to work with different teams, see a wide variety of cases, and bring your experience and perspective to multiple practices - all while maintaining a predictable schedule and the support of a larger veterinary organization.

You’ll work approximately four days per week, with your schedule planned in advance

so you know where you'll be working rather than having to guess where you'll be needed from week to week.

Hospitals You'll Support
  • Prairie Ridge Animal Hospital
  • Pet Haven Veterinary Clinic
  • Heartland Animal Hospital
  • Countryside Pet Clinic and Resort

Each hospital has its own team, clientele, and rhythm, giving you variety in your workweek without constantly having to start over with a new practice or client base.

Why a Multi-Site Role?

This position offers the variety of working with multiple teams while maintaining the stability of an established schedule.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • See a broad range of general practice cases across multiple hospitals
  • Work alongside different doctors, technicians, and support teams
  • Share knowledge and bring your own clinical strengths to each hospital
  • Practice with autonomy while having additional resources and colleagues nearby
  • Develop relationships with multiple established client bases
  • Help support hospitals when additional veterinary coverage is needed
  • Work approximately four days per week with schedules determined in advance
  • Maintain a healthy work-life balance without last-minute schedule changes
What You'll Practice

Your caseload will vary by hospital, but may include:

  • Preventive and wellness medicine
  • Sick visits and urgent care
  • Dentistry and dental radiography
  • Soft-tissue surgery
  • Diagnostics and imaging
  • In-house laboratory work
  • Long-term case management and client education
Supported by a Strong Wichita NVA Network

You'll have the resources of NVA behind you while working with locally based hospital teams.

  • Competitive base salary plus production with no negative accrual
  • Sign-on bonus that can be used toward a home down payment, student loans, or settling into your new role
  • No non-compete agreement
, providing flexibility throughout your career
  • Professional liability insurance fully covered
  • 100% company-paid Short-Term Disability insurance
, providing income protection for qualifying short-term illnesses, injuries, pregnancy, maternity, and parental leave
  • Access to NVA's Pet One Veterinary Training Center for hands‑on surgical and clinical training
  • Industry-leading Mentorship Program with dedicated one‑on‑one support
  • Support and resources to pursue ABVP certification while practicing
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • CE allowance
  • Paid licensing and professional dues
  • Generous PTO
  • Relocation support, including moving expenses and travel
  • Professional development and leadership opportunities
  • Future partnership and ownership opportunities for doctors interested in practice leadership
Autonomy Without Practicing Alone

One of the advantages of working across a local network is that you're never far from another veterinarian or another set of resources when you need them. You can practice independently and make your own medical decisions while still having colleagues and hospital teams available to collaborate with when needed.

Why Wichita?

Wichita offers a strong veterinary community, affordable living compared with many major metro areas, and short commutes that give you more time back in your day. With a lower cost of living, a growing food and arts scene, outdoor recreation, and plenty of space to put down roots, Wichita offers a great balance between career and life outside the hospital.

If you enjoy variety, value autonomy, and like working with different teams while still having the stability of an established schedule, we'd love to talk with you about this opportunity.
