Part-Time (10 hrs/wk)

Purpose:

Assists in the supervision of the lunch room

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work with students in a diverse atmosphere
• Interpersonal skills
• Maintains high levels of confidentiality regarding student and staff information and issues.
• Requires prolonged standing
• Must work in noisy and crowded environments with numerous interruptions.
• Ability to manually move, push or pull objects of not more than 25 pounds.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations

Performance Responsibilities:

• Assist in regular routines including but not limited to assisting with student line-up for food service in the lunchroom during food service periods.
• Follow expectations of district regulations for behavior in food service periods.
• Monitor students as they enter and exit the food service area.
• Assist in rearrangement of food service areas, cleaning and maintaining general orderliness.
• Adhere to all district health and safety policies including all precautions of the Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan.
