Junior Accountant

The Junior Staff Accountant will support the accounting and finance team with day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional who wants hands‑on experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment and the opportunity to grow with a rapidly scaling organization.

• Process high-volume vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness
• Perform three‑way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents
• Prepare and process weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wires)
• Maintain vendor master data and respond to vendor inquiries
• Ensure proper expense coding and compliance with company policies
• Prepare accounts payable reconciliations and tie subledger to the general ledger
• Assist with month‑end close, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and journal entries
• Support inventory and freight‑related payables and reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Analyze variances and research discrepancies
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and schedules
• Participate in process improvements and accounting system enhancements
• Perform ad hoc accounting analysis and projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0–2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
• Proficiency in Excel; ERP system experience strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset
