About the RoleWe’re seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Staff Accountant (Accounts Payable) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong time management and communication skills, with proven experience in Excel and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. This role requires someone who can work independently or as part of a team, maintaining accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner
Track invoices as they are received and ensure proper documentation and coding
Efficiently manage incoming emails related to accounts payable and vendor inquiries
Assist with month-end closing activities and maintain organized financial records
Support the Financial Reporting Manager by providing files, reports, and documentation as needed
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies
Multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency
Support the finance team with ad hoc reporting and data entry tasks
Qualifications0–3 years of experience in an Accounting or similar finance role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work both independently and collaboratively
Familiarity with accounting functions (preferred but not required)
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or working toward completion)
