Fund Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Fund Accounting & Operations

• Manage daily cash activity and reconcile fund bank accounts
• Calculate management fees and expense allocations
• Prepare journal entries and maintain fund general ledgers
• Prepare capital call and distribution calculations and investor notices
• Prepare quarterly financial statements and income allocations
• Calculate fund performance metrics, including MOIC and gross/net IRR
• Support year-end audit processes and coordinate with external auditors

Investor & Internal Reporting

• Support investor reporting and respond to ad hoc information requests
• Partner with finance and investment professionals on fund activity and reporting
• Assist with analysis related to fund performance and portfolio activity
• Support internal reporting and special projects as needed

• 1–3 years of experience in public accounting, fund accounting, or the investment industry
• Financial services public accounting or fund administration experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3.0+ GPA preferred
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Self-starter with a genuine interest in private equity and investment management
