Business Systems/ Tech Analyst
Responsibilities
- Manage indirect procurement activities across assigned spend categories
- Drive upfront spend approval processes to ensure appropriate governance and cost control
- Increase adoption of PO-based purchasing to improve visibility, compliance, and downstream AP efficiency
- Build, document, and execute indirect procurement processes, including new workflows where limited structure currently exists
- Partner with Accounts Payable to support efficiency initiatives and process improvements
- Identify opportunities to streamline procure-to-pay activities and improve cycle times
- Work closely with Finance, AP, Legal, IT, and business stakeholders to establish and reinforce procurement best practices
- Support change management efforts related to new procurement processes, policies, or systems
- Act as a trusted partner to the business, balancing speed, control, and compliance
- Operate effectively across multiple systems (ERP, procurement, AP, or related tools)
- Support upstream spend management by improving intake, approval, and purchasing workflows
- Ensure procurement data supports reporting, compliance, and audit needs
- Experience in indirect procurement, with a focus on front-end/upstream spend management
- Strong understanding of procure-to-pay processes
- Comfort working across multiple systems and tools
- Proven ability to support or drive AP process improvements
- Willingness and ability to build and implement new processes from the ground up
- Experience increasing PO-based purchasing adoption
- Exposure to ERP and procurement platforms
- Experience in a growing, transforming, or less-structured environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
