Shawsheen Coating and Converting seeks a motivated and ambitious Business Development Coordinator to join their team in Andover, MA.

This role will support commercialization and business development efforts across key growth accounts, product launches, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong follow-through, problem-solving ability, professional communication, and the confidence to help keep multiple initiatives moving forward with urgency and accountability. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support major account activity, including follow-up, project tracking, and status visibility.
  • Coordinate sampling, product submissions, trials, and customer follow-through.
  • Drive action items tied to strategic growth accounts and new product launches.
  • Track open opportunities and ensure next steps are clearly identified and executed.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Marketing to remove roadblocks and maintain momentum.
  • Support sales presentations, customer meetings, assortment development, and commercialization efforts.
  • Assist with occasional marketing support, including product materials, competitive research, and launch support.
  • Help identify gaps, bottlenecks, and execution risks before they impact customers.
  • Maintain strong communication across internal teams to keep key initiatives moving forward.
  • Support strategic account, retail program, institutional expansion, product launch, and eCommerce initiatives.
WHAT WE OFFER

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Recent college graduate with strong internship, co-op, or professional office experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to make thoughtful decisions.
  • Self-starter mentality with the confidence to work independently.
  • High sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Professional communication skills and presence.
  • Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments.
  • Willing to get hands-on and do what is needed to move the business forward.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without constant direction.
  • Strong interest in building a long-term career in business development, commercialization, and strategic account management.
