UTMD Ops Lead

Position:
Operations Associate Director – Raytheon Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS), Upper Tier Missile Defense (UTMD) Portfolio.

Location:

Lowell St, Andover, MA. Type:
On‑site. U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance are required.

Leadership: Lead a salaried team, ensuring high‑quality, on‑time communication and coordination with leadership across UTMD, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Engineering.

Planning and Development: Generate production and sustainment plans, workforce forecasts, training programs, capital plans, and control direct and indirect expenses. Enforce company policies and procedures.

Financial Management: Own EAC and operations budgets, evaluate risks and opportunities, and forecast financial performance to support AOP commitments.

Strategic Initiatives: Drive strategic initiatives, collaborate with functions to achieve company goals, and implement CORE for lasting improvement.

Talent Development: Build culture of trust, respect, accountability, speed, collaboration, and innovation; develop talent through performance, career development, and coaching.

Supplier Management: Work with the UTMD Supply Chain lead on long‑term strategies, address cost/price/schedule challenges, and develop mitigation plans.

Communication: Brief senior leadership on strategy and execution progress, and support team understanding of impact on long‑term viability.

Organizational Development: Collaborate with OSC counterparts to evolve Operations & Supply Chain organization, develop staffing solutions for agility, and align strategies to secure future franchise business.

• Minimum 8 years of Program Management, Operations Leadership, Finance, and/or Supply Chain Management experience.
• At least 12 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 10 years of experience.
• Proficiency with manufacturing or enterprise planning tools (e.g., MRP, Kinaxis, SAP, PRISM).
• Experience in Program Management, Operations Leadership, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.
• Optionally, experience with MDA & MDA Programs, competitive bids and proposals, and Development/Transition to Production programs.

U.S. citizenship is required to obtain an active DoD Secret security clearance. The clearance must be maintained from day one.

USD 157,200 – 298,800 per year (range is based on experience, education, and role).
