Position: Permitting Specialist
Location: 4 Executive Place, Andover, Massachusetts 01810 (ONSITE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-4:00PM (Full-Time)

Purpose of PositionAs a Permitting Specialist, you will gather information, process requests, obtain necessary signatures, and coordinate paperwork with all permitting entities to ensure installations are completed without permitting issues. You will work closely with other Permitting and Operations professionals.
Key Role Accountabilities- Assemble, process, and coordinate necessary paperwork for permits to ensure all jobs are compliant with local building codes.
- Understand and effectively communicate our scope of work to permitting entities.
- Maintain a high level of customer service to help alleviate family involvement when additional signatures or authorizations are required.
- Occasionally drive to various municipalities to record and obtain permits.
- Schedule final inspections and obtain results.
- Maintain open communication with sales consultants and management to ensure accuracy.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. The company does not and will not sponsor employment visas.
A high level of organization and attention to detail with clear written and spoken communication skills.
Previous experience working with local municipality’s permitting department is required.
Familiarity with the home improvement industry is preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Approximate hourly pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour.
