- Provide guidance around HVAC, building automation systems, building controls, and plumbing projects.
- Provide front‑line leadership to site‑represented electrical trades including verbal and written instruction, project management, timekeeping, training, conducting safety toolbox talks, performing safety evaluations/JHA’s, and ensuring employees follow company and safety policies.
- Provide technical support to Management and Teammates.
- Be involved in system evaluations and create recommendations to senior management based on schedule, cost, state and federal regulations and system research.
- Provide team leadership using technical knowledge and ability to routinely develop cost‑effective solutions over a range of complex issues while ensuring solutions are innovative and consistent with organizational goals and objectives.
- Perform work with minimal direction, communicate and collaborate well with team members, Management, Security, EHS, internal customers, and the bargaining unit.
- Minimum of 5+ years in facilities experience and a bachelor’s degree in Operations, Facilities, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling.
- 3+ years’ experience in facilities maintenance and construction to include carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sheet‑metal, janitorial.
- 3+ years of proven leadership experience.
- Massachusetts Master Electrical License.
- Experience in building infrastructure and technology, reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.
- Knowledge of Massachusetts and National Building codes.
- Experience consulting with management on building maintenance and construction issues.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Microsoft Projects, Maximo, Building Management Systems, and AutoCAD.
Salary range: $86,800–$165,200 USD. Compensation is based on role, function and responsibilities, experience, location, education, and key skills.
