Upper Elementary Lead Teacher

Andover School of Montessori is seeking a qualified and collaborative part-time Upper Elementary Lead Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and has prior teaching experience, preferably within a Montessori environment. Montessori Upper Elementary certification (ages 9–12) is strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy and materials, strong classroom management and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative teaching team. Strong written communication skills and a passion for creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom community are essential.

We are seeking an educator who is enthusiastic about fostering curiosity, independence, and a love of learning through hands‑on, student‑centered instruction. The successful candidate will value collaboration, maintain strong communication with colleagues and families, and support the social, emotional, and academic growth of each child.
