Course Overview
The Girard School of Business at Merrimack College invites faculty to teach in person undergraduate economics courses for the Fall 2026 semester. Courses run from August 31 to December 18, 2026, and all classes are on‑campus.
ResponsibilitiesTeach introductory and intermediate economics content, deliver lectures, assess student learning, and maintain course materials. Scheduled to teach at 3:00–4:50 PM Tuesday/Thursday for ECO
1201. Course content covers both microeconomic and macroeconomic theory, including market analysis, business cycles, inflation, and policy.
- Master’s degree in business or related area;
Ph.D. preferred. - College teaching experience preferred; related work experience may be considered.
- Cover letter stating motivation and interest in the position, citing relevant experience.
- Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Teaching evaluations (past two years only), if applicable.
Minimum: $5,000 per 4‑credit course. Pay will be based on qualifications, experience, scope of responsibilities, internal equity, and market considerations.
