High School Science Teacher; Biology

Responsibilities

• Teach classes at the high school level.
• Work with a team of teachers in planning curriculum, activities, interdisciplinary units, and special projects essential to student learning.
• Share supervisory responsibilities as needed.

• Massachusetts certification in an appropriate subject area.
• Previous secondary teaching experience.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize the Socratic approach and to incorporate thinking skills in instruction.
• Experience in subject area curriculum development preferred.
• Some computer literacy and familiarity with educational software preferred.
