Job DescriptionTEACHER OF THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED
CREST provides services to students ages Pk - 22 in a substantially separate educational environment as well as within school districts in the greater Merrimack Valley area. Join a growing Vision department that is dedicated to supporting and advocating for individuals with low vision.
Overall Responsibilities- Evaluate the vision needs of individual students and develop appropriate programming to enhance the student’s ability to access education and to achieve his/her highest level of independence.
- Perform evaluations, assessments, consultations, and direct treatment for students assigned to the caseload, and complete required documentation as specified.
- Collaborate and provide consultation and training to classroom staff to incorporate therapeutic techniques into the educational process.
- Facilitate travel among various programs as needed to promote CREST’s mission.
Salary Range: $54,987–$116,598 based on education and experience

- Master’s Degree preferred.
- DESE Teacher of Visually Impaired Certification required.
