Toddler Teacher – Early Childhood Classroom
The Learning Experience – Andover is seeking a certified Toddler Teacher to support children during an important stage of language development, independence, and social-emotional growth. This role focuses on creating a nurturing and engaging classroom environment where toddlers build confidence through structured routines and hands-on learning experiences. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy guiding young learners through early milestones while building strong relationships with families and teaching teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading daily classroom routines for children ages 12–36 months
- Supporting language development and early social interaction
- Implementing developmentally appropriate learning activities and classroom centers
- Assisting with meals, diapering/toileting readiness, and transitions
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Observing and documenting developmental progress
- Communicating regularly with families regarding routines and milestones
- Following Massachusetts EEC licensing and safety requirements
Qualifications:
- Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher certification required
- Prior toddler classroom experience preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
- Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented approach
- Must meet Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements
