Prepare and serve breakfast and lunches to students.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and serve meals daily
• Keep production records temperature and sanitation logs
• Trainings per school food service regulations
• Maintain a clean work area
• Follow food safety and sanitation regulations
• Operate and sanitize all kitchen equipment
• Stand for long periods of time
• Any other duties as assigned by the lead cook /Director of Food Services

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalent

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
Serv Safe Certification

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds; for example, school supplies and books.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as to read handwritten or typed material, and the ability to adjust focus. The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
